How Taylor Swift built an empire on girlhood, innocence, and control — and why that image can’t survive the current culture.
loved this! as a long time enjoyer of her music, i've been getting a little frustrated with her image lately and i haven't had the verbage to explain why - you worded it PERFECTLY! can't wait for the other essays in this series!
thank you so much! i can’t wait for you to read the rest🫶🏽
That was so beautifully wrote. I loved EVERY SECOND of it. U did your thing right there
thank you so much!! 🫶🏽
puh lease, I gagged when you compared her to becoming like katy perry LMAO you ate with that
like the parallels were RIGHT there I had to say it LMAO
Hmmm.
My first impressions of her that stayed with me was maybe 5 years ago when I thought she had extreme talent.
I was impressed when I heard her on NPR Tiny Desk. She certainly could extend her already significant impact by broadening her subject matter.
I do think she, like others, buries her vocals a bit to deep in the arrangements.
